Well I think we all had a great time and got a few more quilts done for the soldiers as well. I finally meet Jan in VA and Calico92402 and lots of others but I don't think they were from this board. We all hit the ground running and I'm not if I knew what I was doing or not but with everyone's help and experience we got them done and that's all that matters, right?

So here's a few pictures that I managed to get. Most were take the first day because I forget the sd drive for the camera in the scanner so I wasn't able to get any pictures myself but one of the other ladies did and will be getting them to Jan so she can add them as well.

Yay, Sue! Thanks for posting these pics and comments about the sew-in this wekend. It was such fun! The food was great, the view - even in early Friday's rain - was beautiful, as was that fabulous building, whose space was all donated to us for the event, by the way. And the staff was so enthusiastic about what we were doing they asked us to expand into the lobby as well, so patrons visiting the Welcome Center could see us in action. We even had a few stay a couple hours to help! The lonagarm gal spent the two days on her feet at her machine which she and her husband set up in the lobby early the first morning. She willingly allowed others to try their hand at LA and has created several converts I hear, LOL!

God so richly blessed this event we are probably going to have another sew-in - perhaps on a smaller scale - in a few weeks. It'll be before Christmas, likely, so if you are interested, be thinking about it so it doesn't conflict with your holiday schedules.
