These are the 2 quilts I made for 2 little girls , that were placed with their Grandma. The Dora quilt was made with the contributions of a few nice ladies on this forum. Thank you so much for helping me out. Elaine

Oh, by the way ; I don't know this family, never met them. My DIL and granddaughter knows them. I just felt that the little girls needed something to cuddle of their own ; since they are having a hard time of it.

Oh those are so cute, you did a very nice job!!!! I did a tinker belle quilt for my b-friends GD but it didn't turn out that cute.

Elaine, those turned out soooo cute!! I bet the girls just loved them! And I can't believe you did them both so quickly!! The Dora fabric looks so much happier than when it was just sitting here, now it gets to be snuggled!!
:) :)

Elaine, a year ago this Christmas I made four fleece blankets for the chldren of a young friend of mine who had gone through a not-so-pleasant divorce. He was home at his parents, along with his two little girls, his friend and her daughter. (He also has an older son who was not there that day, but I also made a blanket for him.) The little girls and their soon-to-be stepsister all love their blankets, and this year I make one for my friend's little niece, who was also there last year, but I didn't know at the time. Needless to say, she also loved her warm blankie...(I think I have to make a surprise one for her grandma, because when I gave the gift to Kathy, she almost was ready to keep it for herself...so I think a surprise is in order for a good friend!)

Those are wonderful. You gotta love Dora and I made a quilt for DGD with the same Tink fabric. Great job.
