Man! I love your sunset pic!!! The choice of colors as well as the pattern. I can believe it would be awhile before
you made another but since it turned out so beautiful you may have to make another one. |
Those are just breathtaking, lovely work!
|
Both your quilts are great! Don't you love making OBW's? It is so fun to see the amazing designs that come out of less then wonderful fabrics.
|
WOW!! You do great work, thanks for sharing.
|
Great quilts! It's just amazing what happens when you take a so-so fabric and use it for a OBW!
And that Radiant Sunshine and Shadows quilt is fabulous!!! I LOVE those; even have the book, but haven't done one with the size blocks they suggest. I did use the same technique but with 2½" strips (so, yes my blocks were 3 times the size of yours), and liked the way that one turned out too. |
Both are so beautiful, great work.
|
The quilts are stunning. I keep looking at these OBW quilts that are posted on QB but darned if I can figure out how they are done (put together)
|
Love them both.

I think your OBW testifies to the fact that there sre no ugly fabrics, just need the right pattern. The Sunset one is fabulous.....I don't have that book and wonder if I would do it if I did....looks very, very labor intensive....great job!!!

Both quillts are great.
