The response to this story is awesome, heart felt and loving..........awesome, there is not enough wonderful words to discribe these gifts to the ones in need.

Everytime the quilt is used they will think of you in fondness.

Those beautiful children with their warm smiles have really warmed my heart. With all the sadness that has surrounded this holiday season, the generosity and love of giving people really proves that there is so much goodness around us. Thanks to all who contributed their time, talents, and treasures.

What wonderful quilts and really cute kids:)

Those smiles say it all! I showed this to my DH and said, "See those smiles? That's why I make charity quilts and give them away!"

It's true that most of the time I don't actually see those smiles, but the smiles in the pictures you posted match the smiles I see in my imagination!

Thank you. It's gratifying to see the joy in the childrens' faces, not just imagine it!

Thank you to all who continue to look at this thread. For most people across the country, Sandy was just a blip on the radar. But for many of us, the recovery goes on. Even now that it is January some still haven't had any work done on their homes! Many are still without heat. Thank you for remembering them.
