They are so cheerful. I really like the pink one. It's a great pattern and so easily adaptable for boys or girls. Thanks for sharing with us.

I did not use a pattern for the ABC quilt I just appliqued an alphabet I had in one of my quilt books (on 6 1/2" squares) and the found fabric that began with each letter (had most of it in my stash). I framed the pictures to help them go with the fabric of the letter and to isolate the picture. I saw a similar counting quilt on pinterest and just did my own pictures drawing some and getting others out of books and off the internet. I can give you my measurements if you ever want them
.

Very, very cute. Love the counting one, gives me an idea to make one for my "newest" grandson whose adoption was final July 1 this year. He lives in Oregon with my dear step daughter and 8 year old grandson. His name is Brayden and he is a beautiful blond, blue eyed tiger! He didn't inherit his temper or defiance from our family. Anyway, he needs practice on counting, when I was visiting I discovered I had 14 toes and 17 fingers! He does ok until he gets to 7 then he is off the map!

I did not use a pattern-just used an alphabet I had in one of my quilt books and then found fabric that began with each letter letter(most of it from my stash)-double bordered those that needed it. As far as the counting quilt, i saw something similar on pinterest and just did my won measurements for the blocks and appliques. Will send you my measurements if you like or anything else you need.

suern3 08-31-2013 04:25 PM

Thanks Gilly, I would like to have your measurements when you have time. Thanks for offering. The fabric I have has letters on it so the borders would be what what brings it together. Thanks again. You can PM me if you want. Susan
