Of course I'll share the pattern; a copy of the Rustic Stars Pattern I found on the internet is attached, or you can just google 'Rustic Stars pattern'; the pattern for the mostly blue quilt I just made up as I went along...

I see your stars are '/rustic stars'. Mine were named 'stretched stars'. A very interesting pattern. Like your colors, too.

JoanneS 03-19-2011 04:14 PM

They're great. She will treasure them. Isn't it amazing how far you can 'stretch' fabric when you want to!!!!!!!

Snorky Lvs2Quilt 03-19-2011 04:39 PM

Happy???? I'm sure she will be ecstatic! Those are beautiful quilts and the memories will be hers to snuggle under. You did a fabulous job.

Wow, love em both. Boy does the blue one show beautifully!

Janquiltz 03-19-2011 04:56 PM

What a beautiful job you did on both quilts - perhaps your son's wife might like a quilt done using her Dad's shirts. Might be something to ask your son. Just a thought.

LoriMcc 03-19-2011 05:02 PM

These are so beautiful. Please let us know her response when she sees then completed!
