Beautiful quilts. Normally, I would choose the purple one to express partiality for. However, The color choices of the second one really strike me as outstanding. I like your idea of taking time to quilt for you as opposed to quilting for others or for profit. I get too wound up in quilting for charitable causes and not do things for family.

I am not usually a fan of purple but your purple quilt just glows. I love both though the second is an idea for my nephew and his wife.
