Quilts to be for my kiddos
2 Attachment(s)
We made a trip to the new Jo-Ann's yesterday. All I was looking for was some muslin, then my son (6) came running up to me with a pirate print. And so, we ended up getting the fabric for him to have a quilt, and my daughter (4) picked out fabrics for her quilt too. She calls the froggy one, "monkey-colored froggies", monkey for multi. LOL

Very good choices for a boy and a girl. Your Kiddos have good tastes. I am partial to the girl one, love all those fabrics and colors.

Oh Oh, sounds like you're going to be busy. Which one are you going to do first? Maybe you can work at them both in stages? OR maybe you can set a date for getting them like their Birthdays? Have fun!

The colors would definately work for my grandchildren. What pattern do u plan on using? I owe my youngest gd one and I have material that are close to yours.

Jingle - Thanks! The stripe has "sparkles" in it too, which my daughter really liked.
Tartan - I haven't decided on that yet. The birthday idea is a good one though! Rori's b'day is in July and Aidan's is October. Niichmom - I'm thinking a Take 5, since I'm just starting. I have quilts in that pattern that my mom has made for me, and it's one of my favorites. Unless I run across something simple before I get them started. |
nice colors for both. i remember my first grandchild quilt - i couldn't believe that my 2yo g'son picked out the fabric. so fun and a great memory to carry forward with the quilt!

Great choices by both kids! Be sure and show the quilts when they are done!

Beautiful! I can see "warm wishes" (my current go-to).

I the fabrics for the frog. I like the others as well but I am not a fan of skeletons. Can't wait for the photos.

Wonderful fabrics! Love them all!
