They are all great!! Just love the log cabin - very striking! Sophie will love her new toy and Katie did a great job. Love the bones!

Your sister's quilt is awesome and Katie did a terrific job for Sophie!

Barb_MO 12-09-2009 11:09 PM

I really like that log cabin. You're a brave one to finish a double wedding ring for someone who had started piecing it. Did a good job.

rootyr 12-10-2009 02:37 AM

Wonderful. Love the dog quilt! Good job!

i love all the quilts that you did--especially the first one it is so beautiful!! i'm going to have to try my hand at that one in 2010

dakotamaid 12-10-2009 06:12 AM

Love them all but especially the middle "ring" quilt. Is there a pattern for that one. My son is getting married next year and I had planned a traditional wedding ring quilt but I like that one!

Quilt4u 12-10-2009 06:13 AM

It is from the Pam and Nicky Lintott Jelly roll book and is called Hidden Stars Log Cabin. I did not purchase a Jelly roll for mine. I grabbed pieces from my stash, did the math, and cut my own strips so that the center starts would be blue and purple as that is my ds favorite color.

It is called the Colorado Wedding and is easier to piece than the traditional wedding ring as it has no curved pieces. The pattern is by Pam Bono Designs www.pambonodesigns.com

My avatar is me with the Pink writing on the back and to the left of me is my little brother Nate, to the left of Nate is Buddy. We go fishing up to were my Dad used to work until he got sick. We went fishing up there that day and the cows were down. So I decided to go say hi! It was a fun day! :) I love farm animals!!

Me too! My dad can mimic a few animals. When we'd go for family rides and see cows we'd beg him to "talk" to them. It was funny to see them stop mid-chew to see what this human was doing. We never got to pet them though!

sewsewquilter 12-13-2009 06:46 PM

Those are wonderful.
