These quilts were made as Round Robins and block swaps with many cadet and grad parents. All are quilted with stars and swirls.
If by a fluke any of you know Jack Bernazzani, please don't tell him about the quilt that was made for him. It is a surprise for all he has done for AFA cadets and won't be presented until Labor Day weekend. as an army soldier,,, I am speechless,, the selfless service he has obviously done, and the fact that you all are recognizing it, is beyond words for me,,, thank you to al f the people like you,, that makes things for service members,, beleive it or not,,, those are our most valued possessions,,

Thank you for all you do to make us soliders happy,,,, I'm so sorry about your friend. I can't imagine what memories you bear after working in the medical field in a war zone. God bless you. I would be very happy to contribute to making a quilt for anyone who personally knows a soldier they would want to send a gift of loving stitches. I have a group of USAFA moms of cadets and grads and we do all the quilts for the yearly raffle at the Academy. I also have made quilts for my son when deployed and others that I know. Red, White and Blue are my favorite colors and I love Patriotic quilts. Do you have a first name we can refer to you by? Diane |
