This is my latest. The pix isn't the greatest. I don't have an area big enough to take a good picture of a KS quilt or any place outdoors. This is the Radiant Star pattern by Eleanor Burns. It still needs to be quilted. It was a little out of my comfort zone but I think it turned out pretty good.

wonderful quilt
|
Pretty and looks like it's a good size.
When you are done, maybe you could get a picture of it outdoors. It makes such a difference in the true colors of the fabric that you used. |
It turned out very nice! KS are hard to take pictures of!

Yes, the pattern is Radiant Star by Eleanor Burns. There are several different variations in the book. You can make everything from a wall hanging to a KS quilt as well as with and without the corner stars. You can also use anywhere from 4 to 7 colors and as many borders as you want. |
Great job, it's beuatiful. I saw that book at the local quilt shop and almost bought it, but I needed the money for food and bills so I'll have to wait to get the book. I did thumb through it tho and she does seem to have an easier way to lake a lone star or radient star quilt. I like the strada method better tho. How are you going ot quilt it. I'm working on a king size also and I'll have to move things around in my sardine can again to work on the quilting once I get there. Still got to get the batting and backing for it yet and that will not happen until next month. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Very pretty, my favorite color is green! :)

Once you figure out how the strips for the points go it's not hard. I thought the instructions could have been better but that's just me.
The colors are actually different shades of teal with one a darker yellow green color. I'm going to try and get a better picture and post. The colors and design will show better. |
Green is my favorite color! Congrats on getting it pieced!

I just posted new pictures under this link. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-124264-1.htm#3286374. It shows the quilt a lot better.
