Funny how these quilts sprout legs and walk off! I'm sure he is still snuggled in it..great job!
Wow ! How neat ! And I love that fact that it grew legs and walked away ! LOL.. Doesn't that make you feel good?
Great job! I can't blame him for claiming it!
Wow, great job Ruth!!! :)
Great job -- I'm not surprised you didn't get time to take pictures of the back before it was claimed....
he sure will be warm and him claiming it is awesome....now if you could just get him to smile....(tell him you just passed gas ...that always brings a smile..)

Great job.
lol isn't it funny when the kids go that is mine, and I would have claimed it too. Great job.
That is neat. He sure looks like he's loving it. GREAT JOB!
Well Ruth it isn't surprising he snaffled it in double quick time, that's just the job for a lad!!, I bet that was hard on your hands with all the snipping :D
Oh I love it - its such a boy quilt.
Great Job!! I love the courdroy Idea for the back too - I love Courdroy so snugglly. I have been saving all of my sons worn out jeans and cutting up the usable fabric from them - cute oshkosh pockets and stuff since he was little to make him a jean rag quilt for when he goes away to university or moves from home - I am so going to put coudroy on the back! My Dad recently passed away as well and I aksed my mom to send me all of his jeans so I can make a special gift for his 9 grandchildren - so I am learning so many great ideas here too! Love it Sheila |
In the middle of the quilt is one square that the seams are on the back not the front. I was going to fix it but it would require talkin it apart in several rows, so i am leaving it. Mason hasn't noticed and I didn't till it was completely done lol
Great job and i love that fabric!
Ahhhh...another loved quilt. :D
Ruth - you know you dun good when a quilt is claimed that fast!!! You'll just have to make another for yourself LOL
Yea, the look on Mason's face says, "It's mine and don't think anything else!". How nice that your work is so appreciated (and desired). It is beautiful. Making a rag quilt is on my short list, too!
Ooo Ruth, Such a great quilt. My grandkids love the rag quilts. They are so warm and snuggly.
Rag quilts can be heavy. Mine is denim. I like to lay it over my feet in the winter because of the weight. We don't need much covering, but I still like the weight. That makes is feel like winter. (Weird, huh)
yes.. a nice warm looking quilt.
Always love to see what people do for a male ... |
