I do not recommend making one this large (52 x 60 inches) unless you have bandaids for the blisters you'll get from the scissors. Or maybe I just don't have the right tools. But it's finished and it's gorgeous. :D

Made with five Moda charm packs on the front side, Bella Solids on the back, and flannel in the middle instead of batting.

GLAD YOU FINISHED IT,BECAUSE IT IS GORGEOUS I JUST LOVE THE SOFT RAG QUILTS.

It's a beauty! I love the wonderful fluffy look to it. Hope your blisters are well healed, and that you're "well-heeled" enough to buy some of those special scissors the gals are mentioning to do your next one pain free!

These charms are mostly from Fig Tree Quilts' Gypsy Rose collection by Moda from about 3 years ago, might be hard to find now, but I mixed in some from other collections because I was running short.

Beautiful quilt. I've been thinking of making one but don't think I can handle it with all that cutting.

But it is beautiful!!!! Well worth any blisters and the price of a box of bandaids

I am not a fan of rag quilts but I really love the one you made!

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I also made a rag quilt and was so surprised that the snipping took so long and was NOT fun. l0l But, the end result... your quilt... is beautiful.

That is stunning. I love how the raw edges fuzzed up! I wanna make one some day.

Just a question, how do you prevent all the unravling on the raw edges from clogging up your washer?
