I started my first rag quilt in June, using flannel, but it took me this long to do the snipping. I finally broke down and bought a pair of the Heritage snips, they were a little pricey but they cut like "butter" and I finished this month.
I won a robot embroidery design pack in a drawing so made a "bankie" using the designs and the rag quilt method with fleece. I really liked the way it turned out. I like this tutorial for making the rag quilt, lots of good, up close, color pictures of the steps. http://greenappleorchard.blogspot.co...-tutorial.html Flannel Rag Quilt Close Up of Embroidery Designs Fleece Rag Bankie - Front Back of Fleece Rag Bankie |
