What an amazing job you did on those quilts!!! I love the idea of incorporating pictures in to quilts.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice job on all of them. I really like the purse! The picture rag quilt is very special.

I love all of these. Incorporating the photos on the one is such an awesome idea. And I really love the book bag...such a unique idea!!!!

Beautiful quilts!

Very nice!!! I would like to make a rag sometime soon. If you took your pictures sideways (turning the camera the long way) like to fit the item in the lenz, then it will come out that way unless you edit it.

Your quilts are beautiful. I really like the picture idea. Very clever. Did you use flannel or cotton fabrics? I am curious because I have made two small rag lap quilts and used heavy flannel which I did not put batting in. I was wondering how the cotton works up. I have plenty in the stash and leftover box and you have given me ideas with the pictures!

Thanks for sharing your rag quilts. I have been obsessed with them for some time now. I have made one for every grandchild and have on the burner for me!

are your pics sideways in your computer. when you save them, some need to be turned right side up first.

All of my rag quilts were made with two pieces of flannel. No batting in between. The one with the pictures and the one with butterfly hand prints I only used the cotton and 1 piece of flannel. On the cotton squares I would stitich them together around the pictures. The cotton does not shrink as much as the flannel. Also any square more than 4" I stitch an X to hold them together better.
