Opinions on Borders please. Im stumped. I thought red inner and beige outer but not happy with it. I hope the pictures post as I am having issues with posting them.

I think you have too many red strips running along the edge to do the first border in red. The lighter color will separate the reds. Even if it's just a very narrow border.

IMHO, the light is too light. if you have some, i'd use one or both of the medium colors

Does it need a border?

I think the beige is just right with a red binding. (and, yes, your figured beige would be even better if you've got it.) Your fabrics are just beautiful. I hope you aren't looking to do really wide borders at this point. Beige - 1.5 - 2 times the width of your strips and red narrow binding would look great to me.

I dont have any left but Moda makes one in this line that has small stars in the aqua. I thought about ordering some of that. I never did a quilt without borders. Is it an option? Not sure if I'd like it.

Do you have a gold/rust like the design the tan print has? That would make a nice thin border, then do your larger border.

I think you should do an inside border of the beige & the outer border in the red.
