This is the Bargello Quilt I made over a period of several years and sessions. I, of course, could not start with something small like a placemat. The bargello portion of this is 69"x 80". I finished it off with the borders to fit my DD's king-size bed.
I used two patterns from Margie Edie's Bargello Quilts. One was "Aurora Borealis" by Erica Meriwether and the 2nd was "Fractured Rhapsody" by the author herself. It got really fun near the end in that as I was moving all that color around during sewing I kept feeling like I was holding giant puddles of rainbow. Thank you for looking. :lol: ). I love the color choices! :thumbup: |
