I watched the video on youtube for the Jelly roll race quilt. Has anyone done one of these with scraps? If so how did it turn out? I am still cutting up my scraps (going on 2 months now) and I was wondering because some are cut in 2.5 in strips

Beautiful. I tried one, but I think where I went wrong was I tried to put black between each color. I ended up with more black than color. I will definitely try one again.

I have to admit that I have never been too keen on the quick strip quilt but I absolutely love yours! I am not a scrappy person but this is awesome to me. It does go to show that colors can make or break it. You made it that's for sure.
