That is sooo pretty. I have never heard of a Rainbow Lasagna Quilt.

I named it rainbow based on the order of the colors.

I have to confess that I did not arrange the colors...they came to me in this order from Favorite Fabrics. I loved the colors as they were and only resize them to the size I wanted. Here is where I got them. http://www.favoritefabric.com/cgi/co...n&key=JS20-001

I have nothing to do with this shop, but they did give awesome service.

Is this done like a jelly roll 1600 race? if nothow do you offset and if so what order do you sew the colours in at the start? So when you fold you end up with that graduation from top to bottom.
I have been teaching all day and my brain won't work anymore!

Thanks Becks

Beautiful quilt. I love the colors. I wondered what size a quilt would be with only 20 strips. Thank you for sharing.

Becks, I started like the jelly roll race, but once all the strips were joined I cut them into 33" pieces (I just chose a random number that would give me joined section in the second row). Then I sewed them in "color" order as you see in the finished top. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks that does make perfect sense. The maths of working out the placement the other way was killing my head!
