She is darling! I just love to see our younger generation taking up quilting/sewing. Let's keep it alive!!!!My 10 year old son has made a few pillowcases.

What a pretty girl. She is going to love that quilt forever!!

Greendragon6889 02-22-2011 12:27 PM

That's going to be beautiful when it's all done...Love the colors ♥

JayCee 02-22-2011 12:29 PM

I noticed a piece yellow yarn tied around her index finger. Was this to aid her in remembering to keep her finger away from the needle?

cjr 02-22-2011 12:43 PM

She is at the perfect age to learn. Quilt is going to be beautiful and timeless.

stoppain 02-22-2011 01:48 PM

Love al the colors and the fact that she looks so happy helping on this quilt.
Have to ask about the table - love the guide going down tmiddle to keep all the blocks straight. Is that the net, or something else you had made?
thanks
Karen

That is so cool! My 13 year old granddaughter has asked me to make a quilt for her. We're going shopping for fabric this weekend. This gives me the idea to let her take an active part in making the quilt whenever possible. She keeps really busy with school activities, but maybe we can carve out a few days together.

That is going to be beautiful. I love the picture of your hands together on the sewing machine. I would frame it and hang it on my wall.
