Can someone help with identifying the pattern type, age and if handmade or machine-made for the pictured quilt. No one seems to able to identify the pattern. Thanks!

Sometimes there isn't an official name, per se, but the design is just shapes the quilter put together.

I've never seen this before. Good luck in your search.

Due to the pastel colours, I think it may be a baby quilt? I don’t recognize the pattern but it looks like it may be hand appliqués in large stitching with no batting. It could be a summer cover rather then a quilt.

someone had fun. looks like sections of a wedding ring arc. they might have had a curved long template for those. if not, you could make one.

I was thinking the same thing! The maker had a double wedding ring template and used that to make appliqué pieces.

Would it be a "Hoopsisters" Double Wedding Ring Quilt design: http://northernthreads.us/hoopsister...t-in-the-hoop/

From the picture it looks possible just not done exactly like it. I do like it with a few more pieces added.

What a sweet quilt! Looks like a true treasure!

Thank you for showing even though I can’t tell you the name. It looks like the arcs from a wedding ring were used for the center block and also to form the borders. Instead of squares to make the points on the ends of the arc in center they appliqués a circle. So pretty,I may give this a try one day.

The finished block looks like a dogwood blossom.
