I really like your quilt. As a new quilter, I have a question. Do the raw edges ravel? I couldn't see the detail on the applique to see what stitches you use. I love applique but am a little apprehensive about the raw edges.

NICE... do you know about how long it took to do that? Great colors... it looks soo happy!!
|
How "springy" is that?
I love it. |
I love this! My husband made me a table top quilt rack and I am trying to make a block (around 12") for each month of the year to hang on it. This would be great for May!!! Thanks for the info and link.

This is just sooo cute. Another one on the never ending list. You did a great job picking all the colors for this. And the quilting is sew nice!
|
Love it! Great color choices!
|
So sweet....great job....great colors! :-D

I love it!

That is a great wall hanging

Cute and I like your fabric choices better than the pattern! Re the raw edges and ravelling - you FMQ just inside the edge so nothing can unravel back beyond the stitching line. There's no reason why you couldn't use this same pattern and blanket stitch or zigzag though, if you were worried.

I am a slow sewer. I may work on something for a few minutes and then go do something else, or I may work a few hours before stopping. So with that in mind I was completely done in a week. If you are the type that can sit down and work until you are done you could have this finished in 1-2 days or less probably.

Great job.
