I have good luck with Superior or Connecting Threads clear or smoke color poly thread and I used Bottom Line ( a fine ) for the bottom.

Wow, wow, wow! Both of these quilts are terrific. The African Queen one is so cute. That's a nice block. It really creates the look of a person. And the fabrics are wonderful. Moon in the Window is very classy looking. Great job all around.
