Recent Finishes - March Table Runners and a UFO
5 Attachment(s)
I took a break from the big quilt I'm working on and made a few St. Patrick's Day runners. The Celtic Twist block can be found as part of the McCall's Ireland BOM http://www.mccallsquilting.com/patte...html?idx=13782
The french braid pattern is super easy and can be found here http://quiltbug.com/Free/table-topper.htm . I used 2 1/2" strips with a 10" center square instead, in order to get a 13 1/2" wide runner. The purple and green runner is a UFO I started over a year ago. I don't know why I waited so long! I do all my own quilting, and worked up an fmq design within the blocks. It was nice to turn it over and see the quilting really pop out. I added a border to the original pattern, which can be found here http://www.favequilts.com/Table-and-...Kaye-Wood-Inc/ Thanks for looking, and have a beautiful day! |
Wonderful work! The quilting is gorgeous!

Your table runners are gorgeous. I especially love your FMQing and yes, it really pops. Thank you for sharing. Wow!
P.S.: I was surprised to see that the last one looks complicated but the pattern shows it is relatively easy. I might have to give it a go. |
