Recent finishes
 

Thought I would share a few of my finishes. The quilt was made from one of Jennie Doan's tutorials, Pecking Order. Can't remember if I shared this one before or not.
The mug rugs were made for the teachers and aides in my youngest grandson's pre-kindergarten class. He has been in the class for two years, initially for speech delay. These days it seems to no longer be a problem. LOL Anyway, the teachers and aides have been wonderful so thought we would treat them.
My DIL is picking up some mugs and I will probably make some homemade cookies or buy some special treat to go with it all. Thanks for looking.

Nice finished projects. Love the quilt with all the "open space". I know that's not what it's called but I can't remember the name for it. Love the border.

Osewme, I love the open areas as well. Wish I could do feather wreaths but not yet good enough for that so I just meandered instead.

These days when teachers are vilified and called names by our legislators, it is good to know that parents and grandparents have their backs. Beautiful job. I know they will appreciate your thoughtfulness and creativity.
