My sister wanted a few things made for a baby shower she is going to and instead of going out and buying something, I was so glad she asked me. I still have to embroider the baby's name on the blanket(which isn't shown) and a receiving blanket. So tomorrow I should have it all done. They are turning out cute. There is two receiving blankets, two burp cloths(one with flannel back, one with minkee), and three bibs(two with flannel backing, one with minkee).

great job, thanks for sharing with us

Really cute, love the prints. I like using the non traditional prints for baby items. That baby will be a real fashion setter!

Lucky baby. Those are going to be the hit of the shower, I'll bet.

What a nice gift the new mom and baby will be receiving.

Very pretty and so nicely made. Much nicer than the mass produced variety, which are so thin and poorly constructed. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Really cute!!!! Love coordinated stuff for babies. Actually I make 36x36 receiving blankets out of flanne for shower giftsl I take 1 yd of 45" flannel and cut off extra to make square. I then just turn under edge 2 times and sew. You could serge or stitch fancy if you want. This is a great size for babies. the ones you buy are too small for any baby except newborns. There are really pretty flannel prints out there. these blankets hold up just as good as bought ones. My DD have been using them thru 3 kids. Faded yes but not falling apart. I usually give 6 blankets for shower gift and now family is looking foward to getting them. Buy fabric on sale at Joann's and it is cheap gift. Also the left over strip can be used to make quits, burb cloths etc.
