Rectangles

Ok started a quilt with some gifted rectangles and a few of my own stash. Simple quilt of rows with sashing of yellow splotchy print. six double rows with 13 rectangles in length, 4x6 inches each. At least I"m getting something put together. working on a green quilt very slowly too.....
ignore the white bedspread and the orange, black and white quilt and the other white quilt my cat sleeps on!! |
I like it, looks good

I like it too. Nice work!
Looks good, nice and cheerful.
I really like it; it's Unusual, but so pretty!
I really like this quilt, I have a lot of rectangles left over from projects as well as a few 10" squares. I'm going to give this one a try.
A little inspiration for using more of our scraps. Neat quilt.
That's turning out nicely! It is motivational for me to just start cutting out 4x6 scraps!
Great way to use up those fabrics languishing in our closet and ending up with a useful quilt. Thanks for the idea.
Your quilt looks homey and welcoming. Someone's going to enjoy it, and less scraps, too!

Ok, finished. I think
used left over smaller rectangles on the back too I quilted an X shape down the rectangles. makes diamonds shapes if you can see them. |
Ah, so this is the quilt you told me about. Love the way you set it. The backing is wonderful too. You really are an inspiration..
Great idea, I have a bunch of rectangles left over also. I'm going to do this, I really like the strip between a few rows. They break up the rectangles and it looks very nice.
Well done! Such a good use of those gifted scraps! I agree with others who called this an inspiration to get our scraps put to use and out the door.
