Here is one of the jackets I have made from recycled jeans. I have had good luck selling these at our local church bazaar. I just use a favorite jacket pattern. This is my first photo post, so hope I've done it correctly.

Now that is pretty nifty, I like how you repurposed the jeans into something that looks like it came from a boutique!

That is cool!! When my oldest was a baby, I made a jacket out of old jeans and lined it with fleece from an old sweatshirt. Then I painted minnie mouse on the back. I also made a sweatshirt type jacket out of 3 different colored sweatshirts-it was kind of colorblocked. I got so many comments on both of them.

The pattern is a McCalls Stitch & Save M5162, but any basic pattern would do. I just rip the jeans into strips, put them back together using a decorative stitch, then cut the pattern.
