Recycled shirt's Plaid Mad Top

3 Attachment(s)
With recycled shirts and some vowen yardage I just finished this top: the units are made from 3.5" charms and 6.5" x 3.5" bricks, and the finished block size is 12"

I add in the top the pockets and my son's personalized embroidery initials and some labels too! :)
I'm very pleased how it turned out.

Thank you very much for look.
Marta.

Nothing says cozy like a plaid quilt....just my opinion of course !!....but this one surely makes me want to snuggle up in it.

Very nice! I love the plaid shirt quilts and wish I could find enough "cheap" shirts to make one. I look in the thrift shops close to me but can't find any. I don't think plaid is an "in" thing around town. :)

pennycandy 02-12-2015 12:07 AM

I really like this! Now I need to find some light colored plaids to go with the dark ones I already have.

Great Man quilt! Just the idea I'm looking for, for a memory quilt for a friend who just lost her husband. Thanks for a great idea with perfect timing.
