what a lot of work, but so pretty

Those are really pretty. Do you piece backings from the shirts also, or are you using another fabric?

There are lots of seams in these, so I'm going to use recycled cotton sheets. They are used, but not thin. I'm a fairly new long armer and I'm worried about the bulk with a pieced top and back. You certainly could use shirts. I probably would just use large pieces from the backs, again, to keep the number of seams down.
