The quilts are beautiful!! I am going to check with my LQS and see if they are offering this as a class!

The One Block Wonder Encore book is all you need - it is very easy and explicit to follow - good tips on fabric to buy, quantities etc.

Thanks everyone, I enjoyed making these too. It's amazing how the blocks came out - quite different! I still have some over, enough to make a runner or the like.

The second one grabs me. I want to do a quilt with lots of those cubes shown in the first one.

Yum, lovely. Fabulous splitting them into two as well, I'm on other things at the moment but this is making me think again now about a couple of OBWish fabrics I've put on the back shelf for now...

I love your feather method, too. it looks so much lighter and airier than a feather with lots of backtracking.

The feathers are as Sally Terry's book "Hooked on Feathers" and you're right Salmonsweet - no backtracking and easy to do

I'm quite a bad girl at buying fabric for OBWs - I have 4 lots awaiting their turn - what a decision -which to go for next??
Plus I've now got the "One Block Wonders Cubed" book as well, and want to have a go at some of the things in there which are quite amazing.

But I've had a king size quilt pieced for over 6 months which I really ought to finish before doing another OBW..................

Wow! Those are beautiful! I am new to quilting and one thing that amazes me about many of the quilts I see on this board is how you take the fabric and turn it into something so beautiful-I do not have that type of "vision" yet where you can look at the fabric and see the finished project in your mind.

They're both beautiful, but the Orange Sundae really catches my eye!
