Beautiful! Red is my favorite color and it has so many great shades. You picked just the right one! :)

gsbuffalo 03-24-2012 01:55 AM

love it. beautiful

I really like this quilt! Love the red, cream and white. I also think your quilt gets an extra something with the corner squares and blocks in the sashing and borders. Nice job! Well worth all the extra work, as far as I'm concerned.

I love red. I love your quilt!

azwendyg 03-24-2012 03:34 AM

What a beautiful quilt! No one would ever know all the "versions" you went through to get here; it looks perfect! I think the bright red binding like you are thinking would give it a great finishing touch.

Katie 03-24-2012 03:54 AM

It's beautiful

sewnbug 03-24-2012 04:26 AM

I love it.

cjackaitlin 03-24-2012 04:37 AM

Beautiful work, I like you wouldn't put the other border, perfect just as is. Thanks for sharing.

coopah 03-24-2012 04:37 AM

Just gorgeous. Learn to trust yourself. You know better what you want than any store clerk or anyone! Love your choices!

anita211 03-24-2012 04:54 AM

I'm not sure I would do anything with it other than finish it. You could use the red as the binding. It is lovely.

Your quilt is beautiful. I'm partial to red ones. :)

I think it turned out really nice.

Your piecing is superb... I love the monochromatic.. I can't imagine the green border... I think it would be too distracting. With all that beauty you don't want that to happen.. The shortfall cornerstones, and I have had that happen was serendipitous. They look like they should be there - especially since you used them elsewhere. I would call it done and bind in the bright red so that it really stands out!!! You did great and should be sooo proud of your self and not stress over the small stuff...

janiesews 03-24-2012 05:49 AM

I really like what I see on my monitor. I wouldn't put any green in this quilt, sometimes it's better to ignore advice. Beautiful quilt!

petlover 03-24-2012 08:18 AM
