We - the gals at the shop and I - hired our favorite customer to teach us how to do this pattern and the 4-patch posies, last April. I had my blocks finished in mid summer but was waiting for the weather to change, to come back to this project. My too-much-work-to-do philosophy has me working outside in the garden anytime the weather is decent. With fall in the air now, it gets dark earlier and we're having a rainy spell, so back to the sewing machine I go. |
Oh I can't wait to see it finished. It is gorgeous now....I can only imagine what it will look like completed.

Finally did the layout on these blocks. The quilt will be for DD's bedroom. No, it doesn't match a THING in her room! Nor will it match the cat hair which will be applied later. (sigh)
The sashing will be black, with red cornerstones. Hoping to have it completed by Christmas! Beautiful quilt! S/W is one of my favorites. |
