I joined my first block swap and this is what I made from one of the sets I got.

Funny story about the backing, It is a damask table cloth i bought at Walmart on clearnace after Christmas for $2.25 was 60x72

Hi, Your quilt is beautiful. I really like. it. I hope you washed the table cloth several times before you used it. I did something simular, and my backing ran really bad. I used several of the color catchers too. It was on a red and white quilt with embrodery blocks. I used oxyclean, and most of the color came out. I was lucky.

Beautiful Quilt....that's a Great idea to use those table cloths for the backing...I don't know how many times I have passed them up knowing I would never use them for a table cloth.

I didn't know what I was going to do with it when I bought it and someone on the board told me I should use for backing. I did was it several times in cold water and set it with vinegar also.

I'm not into sampler quilts but this is very pretty. Well done!!!!
