Love the log cabin!!! Amazing how they all turn out so different. Yours is gorgeous!!! :)

Lovely. I'd be hesitant to add another color...maybe a solid brick red for the small border you mentioned and then finish as you said...just to keep it all red work, but then that's just an opinion.

How did you make it come out this way and not straight. I love it and would love to do a jelly roll if I could do it this way. Could you please do a tut or just the basic start. Thanks

I had a red and white jelly roll and red and white yardage that I have been collecting. This is what have been trying to work on for a few weeks and finally had time yesterday to finish the blocks. I hope to get the blocks together this afternoon. I think I will do a small black on black border, add a red/white border and bind with the white/red matching fabric. What do you think?

Ok I think I understand now. You made the log cabin pattern out of a red and white jelly roll. Very Pretty.

So pretty. This is a dream project when I retire is to make a red and white. Thank you for the inspiration.

Oh, so pretty. Love it.

Be still my heart. I love red and white. The white fabrics with the red designs is perfect.
I really like two color quilts but red and white is my favorite. Thanks for sharing. |
If it were my quilt, I would make a small solid white border/frame and then a red print for the outer border/binding.
