Well girls this is the third and last ime I am re-working this wallhanging. It has been in a drawer for eighteen years after finishing the embroidery. I drew it from a picture I saw once.
I am going to quilt it this week and call it finished. So... What do you think? You like? Check out the date 1992! It is 31" wide and 33 1/2 " tall. Best view I could get of it... Awesome job! You must feel so proud of yourself. After 18 years and you are finishing!!!!!!!! Great job.
My New Years resolution this year is for 2011 I can not start on a new project until I have finished all of my WIP. I don't believe that I can finish all of them in 2011 but at least I hope to make a big dent. The only exception will be if I need to make a wedding quilt or a baby quilt. I am hoping that I will have to make a baby quilt :-) (fingers crossed) Thanks, Sherryl Candlequilter |
Beautiful!

I love redwork. All the little details are great.

Really great-however I have had a piece of redwork in my closet since I started quilting (9 years or so) and I don't understand what to do with it??? Do you use red thread over the red lines or what??? My piece is a dresser scarf and I would love to finish it if I only knew how!! Post a pic when you finish it!
