I'm at work so I had to look up the name of the book online and found a video that talks about and shows the book.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMWPp37M130 It's the second time I've used it. It explains the math and for some borders give you options on finishing corners (mitred, corner blocks - etc). This particular border was strip pieced. 3 strips. It was relatively easy, but a good deal of work as you couldn't chain sew them together. I recommend a LOT of starch. Someone asked how I got the all the "points" even on the outside. They're not points per se - it's a stagger strip piece so the points are "remains". They'll be cut off. |
