Aren't they clever ... I have 3 kitties. Your cat is BEAUTIFUL ... is she a special breed?

I don't think that she is a purebred but she looks just like a Snowshoe Balinese. She has the ice blue eyes and the coloration. But she sure DOESN'T have the vocal 'abilities' of a Siamese.

She is my storm drain kitty. I was getting an MRI in October and I parked on the edge of the parking lot. We were having LOTS of storms in Tidewater Virginia. When I was getting in my car, I heard a noise. Having rescued newborns (puppies and kittens) for years, I knew that it was a meow. I looked and looked and couldn't see anything. I finally found a little mudball under the front end of my van. She was on the side of the concrete parking stop under my van. I finally got ahold of her and she was absolutely PACKED with mud - including in her yet-to-open eyes (the vet said she was about 5-6 days old). Took her into the MRI clinic and washed her in their bathroom sink. The mud was crusted inside her no longer sealed eyelids. The vet said that she would probably be blind. She does have a 'rough spot' on her left cornea which easily gets irritated - if she brushes it with a paw or get a hair in it. But she can definitely see EVERYTHING.

She is my baby and she knows it. And I will gladly 'share' my stuff with her. She has brought something back into my life that I didn't know I was missing. I haven't had a Siamese in over 8 years. I hadn't realized how much I missed their spirit.
