It is strikingly beautiful. I'm impressed w/ all those difficulties it is finished and not a wad in the ufo pile!

Way to follow through and get it completed. Well worth all the "problems". Can't wait to see it once it's quilted!

oh! had not thought of that--figured the kaleidoscopes were so bright that the black needed to stay black. But that does give me so ideas to pop in a couple of colors in a couple of spaces, hmmm... back to sketch pad!

It is an eye-popping quilt for sure. Hope you win a prize for that pretty quilt.

Beautiful!!! I had a quilt that I didn't like at the beginning - finished it, thinking that "Oh, it'll get better". I did switch out many of the fabrics, but I never did like the finished the product. The recipient loves it, and while that is great, I've always been disappointed.

I had 2-3 yds of fabric left over and I have challenged myself to make other quilts w/ those fabrics, and I have to admit that I am absolutely loving these new quilts. I'm on my 4th quilt (all throw size due to yardage constraints) and I have one more after my current project.

So - point is - go challenge yourself to come up w/ other quilts that will work w/ those fabrics. It can really be fun.
