You both did a lovely job of designing your space. I need to get my "handyman" over here to help me design a better sewing area. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, but I liked your plants in the window. Does anyone know where I could get a spider plant, I believe they are called. - J

What a great area to work/play in. It seems so spacious and neat. I wish I was that organized.

ga447 02-13-2011 08:32 AM

Super Super room. I love the way it is organized. MY DH is painting my room next week. A very light gray, called "knitting needles". I have two closets for quilting (one for charity stuff and one for "ME").

PS Stitcher 02-13-2011 08:39 AM

Wow! You and your husband did a fabulous job!! Very nice room!

craftymatt2 02-13-2011 08:43 AM

He did a very nice job, I love your parking sign. I never thought about utilizing a closet in that manner, I will have to bookmark this so I will remember. I have the whole basement to myself and its unfinished, but there is a alcove where I think a fireplace would go, and it would be big enough to do something like yours. All I have to do is get rid of my kids stuff, two are married and the other is still going to school but for some reason my kids think I am the storeage place, go figure.

shopaholic97 02-13-2011 09:01 AM

What a great place!!!!!!!

He built that drawer himself, so my embroidery thread can be in one spot. That cabinet is a kitchen sink base, somebody messed it up with a forklift. So we got it for 10 bucks.

We got the spider plant at Lowe's a few years ago. He (Spiderman) was such a scrawny looking thing when we brought him home. He lives under a grow light.

he is their "Dad" .....haha
