Maybe it belonged to that quilt police person who thought hand-made items were trashy. So she tossed it and bought a Wal-Mart quilt. I'm glad it has good home now.

Did your husband as him where it came from. I always feel so sad when I see a quilt just disguarded. There is someone's heart and soul in that quilt.

I saw a baby quilt with a label on it in a Yuma antique store last year. I kick myself as I never bought it.

Omigosh, that is a crime!!! I am so glad you trusted your instinct and saved this. To think that someone spent many hours working on this, gave it with love, to have it treated that way. It's in the right hands now.
