Love your quilt because I have the same one on my bed. My green is a little darker. My mother and sister passed it back and forth 35 years before finishing.

What a great job you did on this quilt! I have my grandmother's flower garden quilt on my bed now. It is pretty worn, but I love it.

I am making one of those. I have got the middle pieces done - in the process now of adding the white. I am so glad you posted this because now I can see how mine will look - someday. I am so intimidated about the hand quilting, though. I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Thanks for sharing. I will bookmark for when I get discouraged.

Just beautiful. I am so glad you rescued that quilt and completed it. I think sometimes the people that give things like this away just don't know what to do with them and don't realize what a treasure they have.

Also, the bed goes so well with the antique look of the quilt. Nice job with your hand quilting. I'm right in the middle of doing the same thing. Very relaxing and zen thing to do I find!

If i didn't know better i'd think you took mine off my bed!
my grandma made mine as a graduation from HS gift.
the green in mine is more of a kelly green is the difference, and mine is for a double bed size comforter.
she did outline quilting by hand too!
