Color me impressed.

Those are all fabulous, I think I like the straddle bag best, but there are so many useful ideas in this batch of projects that I keep going back to look at them again- the piece with the separating zipper and compartments for you tools to stand up will be really useful and those project bags for bobbins and feet- well done!

All I can say is WOW!

That's amazing! I'm so jealous, cause I'm a mess at bags, etc. And your Straddle bags--WOW what a great idea. Have a great time at your retreat (and do take some cushions in case the table/chair set up is a problem.)
|
You'll be the talk of the retreat quilters! Have a wonderful time!
|
I'm blown away! So well thought-out and beautifully made!
|
Wow! Wow! Wow! I would be seriously impressed seeing you coming along at a retreat with all of that! Absolutely beautiful! Well done! I especially like the straddle bag and how you have placed the handles so that it is just kind of pick up and go. I am actually quite speechless! Amazing job!

What great organizing set. I would use them for my studio! At the retreat , I pack in a suit case with wheels, and leave by my table. I use 2 gallon Ziploc bags for my projects, I bring a few extras, and leave in my car. I have a clear 3 tier stacking storage case, this really works the best. I do not want nothing on my table but my project.
I also have a small basket with most used items like several extra machine needles, scissors, seam rippers, etc. I usually attend 3 to 4 different retreats a year. Have fun. |
Wow, you were very industrious!!:sew: Really great projects!! Love the saddle bag-idea!<3:cool: You certainly deserve a retreat after all that work!

Wow PP, what an awesome collection of totes, bags and organizers! I am envious and I bet they get a lot of attention at the retreat, I know if I was there I would be ooing and ahhing all over them. I definitely have bag envy. I have never attempted to make one of any kind, but it is on my bucket list to do. And the fabric you chose to make them is just gorgeous! Great choice for the set.

I'm impressed with your creativity. What a fun thing to do. I agree with ArtsyOne I would need labels! You will probably be on craftsy soon teaching your craft of how to pack for retreats with retreat luggage. I'll be the first to sign up! And I love the fabric you chose for the retreat luggage too. I'm just sayin.

What fantastic projects!!! Hope you have a great time!!
|
wow, that is such a beautiful bunch of projects to carry everything in
|
retreats are fun, we have 1 lady that spreads out everywhere!! we tease the dickens out of her but love her and wouldn't change a thing!! Don't worry we all spread out stuff out. Just have your name on things so you can get them all back
|
What a clever way to organize all of your stuff. You have done very well!
|
Oh my gosh... are you ever prepared!! So much fabulous sewing. I love that duffle bag!
|
We are all envious of these great project ideas. I do a fundraiser basket every year and make items quilters like to use...needlecases, sewing table apron, sewing machine cover, etc. So many of these little items would work great in my "basket". Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for posting all the links for the beautiful bags, etc. that you made. So talented.
|
how did your items work out at the retreat?
they all look wonderful. |

Looks like you are very prepared. Love your colours and thank you for sharing.

I have been intimidated by retreats. Glad you are venturing out and good luck. Let us know all the goodie details. Now as to your mind boggling organizers. I'm speechless. Loved all the items. You need to go into production. The chair idea is great. Our little quilting club can certainly use those as we have all day sewing in a confined space. Brilliant idea. Have fun and keep us posted as to your adventure.
