Love them. I started making them because I had the fabric and all that batting scraps! And because I like them bigger than 6 inches. I also make some bigger,12" square to set hot dishes on the counter. Corian does not like heat to well.

no pattern - very organic! :) I decide on a final size of 8" finished and then just cut and sew until I get to where I need the final pieces to get it to the size it needs to be.
