Reversible Dresden Christmas Runners
1 Attachment(s)
I decided to make runners with these Dresden’s plate blocks I had already made thinking I would use them for a quilt. They are pretty much the same. I used the same back and binding on both and they could be reversible. All Christmas fabrics used. Size after quilting is 22 x 57 inches. I really liked them better after quilting. I straight stitched 1/4 inch away from blades. In the circle center and on the white I meander quilted. I also stitched 1/4 inch in squares. I hope you are able to see the stitching. I laid them on my sofa and this seemed to be the best picture. Hope you like!-Toogie

Wonderful festive runner!

Beautiful table runners. I made some last year as gifts for my daughters. I used the log cabin pattern for mine but I love the look of the Dresden plate.

What a beautiful way to use spare blocks. Love dresdens and they sure make a lovely table runner.

You are inspiring me to pull out some of the DP's that I have all made up and have sit in a tub for several years. I could do something good with them if I just pulled them out and forget about making a full size quilt. Your table runner is so beautiful. I love it.

Beautiful, Toogie!! What a festive table you will have.

Not for my table SusieQOH, this is 57 inch long and my table is 9 feet-lol-I already gave one away yesterday.

Beautiful runner, I love dresdens> Several years ago I made 4 dresden plate quilts and I still have them. Someday someone will get them.
