This is another of my coworkers' baby quilts. This baby is not actually born yet! WOO HOO we're ahead of schedule. The baby's nursery is being done in pink and chocolate. We have decided that from here on out, we will do baby quilts in the colors we want them instead of trying to match the nursery.

This is the second time we've used this quilting pattern, and we really like it. It resembles the hearts in the fabric. We had the charm pack to make a purse for my wife, but since we hadn't used it and it was the baby's colors, we used it for this quilt. We bought the yardage to make the alternate squares and borders.

congratulations on finishing ahead of schedule... not always an easy thing to do. Great looking quilt, I'm sure the mom wil be thrilled.

Very nicely done. A great example of an simple pattern and great fabrics that make it look like you worked for year to complete the top. Thanks for sharing.
