I made this for one of my best friends, for her wedding. I quilted the white satin with a freehand feathered heart on my longarm, then made it into a pillow and added satin ribbons.

Do you use special needles for satin? I made a quilt for my mom with satin backing and it ended up all snagged.

I used the regular longarm needles. Mostly I use size 20 on cotton quilts. I used a smaller needle on this, size 18.
