Ripples on the Pond
 

I made this quilt after seeing it on the cover of a pattern book. It went together nicely and I free motion quilted ripples all over it on my longarm. I dropped it off at the county fair this afternoon. Judging is tomorrow. I hope the judge likes it!

Thanks for the kind words. It got a blue. Part of my other entries got reds because the edges weren’t straight. I have no idea how my square quilts that I pinned to the long arm in a straight line and then sewed bindings on to aren’t straight, but whatever. I didn’t get dinged for poor piecing or such so that was good. And my star points on other quilts were also good. Oh and my edge to edge quilts lost to custom quilted ones.
