Finished this one FOR ME!!!!!!! while I was receiving treatment (radiation) for breast cancer this summer. It gave me something else to focus on and - once I'd figured out the fabrics - was mindless sewing with just enough detail to be interesting. Not sure what I'll do with it but I am keeping it. Probably will get a lot of use when I get my knees replaced starting in November ...
Not happy with quilting in the border but my brain just couldn't come up with anything else and it is done. Just a reminder to me that life deals out waves of good stuff and bad but you keep going. Colours are a lot brighter but it was a sunny day. |
Lovely! blue is my favorite color. Beautiful choice of fabrics. I am not very good with words but I certainly wish you well as long as your health problems are concerned. Quilting is a therapy by itself isn't it! Take care

you did a great job with it
|
extremely fine job. I wish you well with your health issues.

Beautiful quilt. Quilting is what got me through several of my own surgeries as well as my sister's battle with colon cancer. Hugs!

I am fascinated with the Bargellos. What is the name of your pattern? Your quilt is lovely and I like the quilting, even the border. I especially love your attitude. I have had cancer twice (breast and non-hodgkins lymphoma- 7 and 10 years ago, thank God) and isn't it true that you just keep going. It's wonderful having hobbies like quilting and gardening to fall back on. It is helpful to keep very busy. Good luck and speedy recovery (knee surgery also).

It's beautiful and, yes, you should definitely keep it if it.
|
Lovely Bargello! I hope you are on the mend.
|
Beautiful quilt and I wish you a speedy recovery and smooth sailing with your knee surgeries.
|
I love your quilt. Glad the breast cancer is behind you and best of luck with your knee surgeries and recuperation!
