Rob Appell's Unstrung Heros wallhanging to queen size with pic (I hope)n size
I made rob's wallhanging into queen size for my grandson's HS graduation. I found i picture on Pinterest with a music theme and took it from there. I didn't save the pin so I can't give the pinner credit-so sorry. I of course changed things up a bit from the picture. Hope you like it, creative criticism always welcome. Now if I can only get the pic to post, I'm not very good at this. I guess I can't figure out how to post the picture. Maybe next time.

The picture didn’t come through.

make your picture as small as you can and it will probably upload just fine.

In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures. https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...p-location.jpg Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...d-t312607.html Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. |

Oh, wow! Your grandson is sure to love this!

WOW this is incredible. How in the world did you do the music staff? The whole thing is just stunning and perfect for a music lover.

Great job on this design! Glad you got help to post the picture!

Thanks I found a picture on pinterest (of course) it had square blocks with the music staff on it. the lines were made with gold lame' fusible bais tape, I think that turned out to be the most expensive part of the quilt. I ordered 2 packages thinking 1 was enough but ordered a 2nd one because my musical granddaughter will be graduating next year, and I might get ahead of the game. HA I wound up using almost all of it (11 yds each!) The gold music notes were made from cosplay fabric. I used that because I figured lame' would fray too much, very careful with the iron as it said not to iron it. The only problem now is what I am going to come up for his sister, who plays piano, flute, and the ukulele, sings in the choir and jass choir. I am open to any ideas, LOL
